The Next New Thing
In the future, I believe all the devices that we use everyday, will all be integrated into one for the users convenience. In addition, these objects will only get smaller and smaller, and work faster and faster to best fit our needs. Also, we will not have to worry about getting reception or connection everywhere we go, because one day it will work anywhere, whether it is in a basement or at the bottom of a well. One day, we might even find that we wont need credit cards or metro cards anymore because all we would have to do is wave our hands in front of a machine and it will be recognized who we are. Although I do think that all of this will be more convenient to the users of everyday that value every second of their day, I believe that is a bad things because people will no longer have the privacy to share who they are with others.

Finger print recognition has been out for some time now and the idea our hand to purchase items is not too farfetched. The problem is having the general public accept and use it.
ReplyDeleteMany of the laptops today come with finger print recognition technology, so this can advance much more and certainly be close to what you are talking about.
ReplyDeleteI believe in Japan, credit cards have been integrated into cell phones. Will that technology be transferred over to the United States? Who knows. I'm certain that if that technology were to be applied into our society, more then likely, metro cards will be integrated into our cell phones as well.
ReplyDeletesome of this devises are used on our everyday lifes but imagine if you dont have the keys to your house and the only thing you will have to do is wave your hands and the door will open this idea is great and its even greater that you thought of this because of this you are expanding new technology.
ReplyDeleteI know in South Korea for public transportation you can have your credit card or "metro card" in your book bag/purse and just place it over the scanner.
ReplyDeleteThat will really be amazing and I am pretty sure something like that will come very soon. Not too sure about waving the hand but it is possible that all metro card, credit card and other cards will be all in one device. It will be very convenient but at the same time, it can be a little dangerous. For example, if one loses that card- they will lose their credit card, liscence, metro card, etc.
